Captive Unicorn Table Runner Large

The Captive Unicorn Table Runner Large is a stunning classic tapestry table runner woven by Flemish weavers in a fine cotton blend.

Depicting the Unicorn hunt, this table linen design is based on the the sixth panel from the original series of wall tapestries, showing the Unicorn seated within an enclosure in a flowery mead. Note the `mille fleur' (thousand flowers) style, i.e. covered with tiny Flowers, among which can be seen are pansies, ragged robin, harebells, foxgloves, periwinkles & other wild flowers.

The unicorn was fabled for its beautiful shape, its great agility & its virtue as well as being a symbol of purity & of unattainable love.
