    Please note if your delivery address is out with the United Kingdom, you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once a shipment reaches your country.  Any charges such as this for customs clearance must be borne by you (please see our customs information below for further detail).

    Order Dispatch

    We aim to dispatch orders received before 2:00pm on a working day (Mon-Fri) on the same day. However, some orders may take up to two working days to dispatch. Please note orders placed over weekends, public holidays and bank holidays will be dispatched the next working day.

    Some products may have a longer delivery time which will be detailed on the product information page.

    Please ensure that either a contact mobile phone number or a contact e-mail address is entered in your delivery address details otherwise we will not be able to dispatch your order.  The mobile phone number and/or the e-mail address will be used to send you an order confirmation as well any delivery updates and confirmations that may be required.

    Alcohol is only available for delivery within the UK and can only be delivered to a person over 18 years old.

    ID will be requested from the recipient by the delivery provider at the time of delivery to ensure this is received by someone 18 years old or over and delivery will be refused if ID is not available. A passport or driving licence are the only acceptable forms of ID for Royal Mail deliveries.

    Lochcarron Orders

    Please allow up to 7 days delivery in addition to our standard delivery time for orders containing a Lochcarron product. Orders containing a Lochcarron product are dispatched once a week.

    Tapestry Orders

    Any orders containing a Tapestry incur an additional delivery fee due to the nature and weight of these items.

    Delivery of this item is direct from the supplier and may take up to 14 days for orders. Please note that other purchases made in the same transaction from our online shop will be delivered separately as per our normal delivery times.

    Ortak jewellery Orders

    Delivery of our Maeshowe Ortak Jewellery is shipped direct from our supplier by Royal Mail and will have extended delivery times.

    Pre-release Products

    Some of our products, such as books, may be ordered in advance of their official release date. We will keep you updated by e-mail about the anticipated dispatch date of any pre-release products that you have ordered.

    Product Restrictions

    Most of our products are available for delivery to all destinations advised, however some exclusions may apply.

    This will be noted in the product description and at the checkout stage if it applies to the destination country selected for delivery.

    Order Tracking

    Once your order has been dispatched you will be sent an email notification with a tracking number and a text message if you have opted to receive this.

    You can track your order using the tracking number provided in your order dispatch confirmation email through the Royal Mail website:- Track and Trace - Track your Item | Royal Mail Ltd or through the tracking details provided if you have ordered a product that is dispatched directly from one of our suppliers.

    Receiving Your Delivery

    Once your order has been dispatched it will be delivered as per the delivery times for your chosen destination as described in the Delivery Cost section.

    Applicable law

    The laws of Scotland shall apply to this delivery policy, and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in the Scottish courts. If you are a consumer and you live in England or Wales, you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in either the Scottish or the English & Welsh courts. If you are a consumer and live in Northern Ireland, you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in either the Northern Irish or the Scottish courts.
