Fleur de Lys Tapestry
The Fleur De Lys Tapestry print, which features the Lily, was initially a symbol of French monarchy and was incorporated into the Royal Arms of Scotland during the Queen's reign. This emblem, representing a stylised lily or lotus flower, carries multiple meanings. Traditionally, royalty and connoting perfection, light, and life.
This particular design was extremely favoured by Mary Queen of Scots and can be seen hanging throughout Stirling Castle.
