The Sassenach is an award-winning, premium blended scotch whisky with a distinct character and smooth flavor, suitable for any occasion. Founded by Sam Heughan and inspired by the Highlands of Scotland, this exceptional blend has an underlying, rich character that rises to the forefront.

Breaking the mold in blended Scotch whisky, The Sassenach boasts an ornate composition of predominately Single Malt whisky aged between 9 and 12 years and bourbon barrel-aged 21-year-old Organic Single Grain, finished in Madeira casks. The Sassenach emphasises the fruity character of the Single Malt, while the organic Grain evokes a balanced subtle flavor, and the Madeira casks impart an added richness and complexity to the fruit notes with a roundness from their maturity. Bottled at 46%, The Sassenach is non-chill filtered and uses exclusively natural color – just as nature intended.

• THE NOSE : The nose is packed with citrus fruits, almonds, and vanilla. Upon
  tasting, The Sassenach delivers flavors of peach, apricot, honey and butterscotch.
• THE TASTE : The taste is smooth but distinctive with an unmistakable sweet finish
  of cinnamon and nutmeg.
• THE FINISH : Medium in length, sweet finish with notes of nutmeg, citrus oils
  and toffee.
