The original tapestries are the most celebrated set that have survived from the medieval period. They consist of six which can now be found in the Cluny Museum, Paris. These tapestries depict the five human senses and the sixth is called "To My Only Desire".
Here the elegant Lady's gesture choosing a delicacy from a candy box can be seen. In the loosely strewn flowers, all kinds of animals disport themselves. Even the smallest details are reproduced with great care. Note also the monkey savouring a morsel.
