Craigmillar Castle Guidebook

This official souvenir guide tells the story of Craigmillar Castle, an attractive and well-preserved site just outside Edinburgh.  Dating back to the 14th Century Preston family, with whom it remained until passing to the Gilmour family in the 1660s, Craigmillar played an interesting role in Scottish history. Mary Queen of Scots stayed there several times, and was a key location in the plot to assassinate her husband, Lord Darnley.
