Explore our newest collection dedicated to St Mungo's Church which includes this handy Glasgow St Mungo Crest Bookmark. Designed exclusively for Historic Scotland by Scottish illustrator Allistair Burt of Hole in My Pocket, this fun range was inspired by the famous Glasgow Coat of Arms featuring multiple symbols each with it's own tale originating from Glasgow's patron Saint Mungo. 

The awe-inspiring building dedicated to St Kentigern, also known as St Mungo, was built in the 1100s and drew countless pilgrims to his shrine. Today, it’s the most complete medieval cathedral on the Scottish mainland, having survived the Protestant Reformation almost intact.
