Declaration of Arbroath Limited Edition Collectors Coin

The Declaration of Arbroath is a letter to the Pope from the barons of Scotland. Sent 700 years ago in April 1320, it urges him to recognise Scotland as a free country with Robert the Bruce as its rightful king, and to discourage Edward II of England’s ambitions to rule over Scotland.

This limited-edition coin has been commissioned to commemorate this historic anniversary.
