The Falconer Tapestry
The beautifully created 'The Falconer Tapestry' forms part of a set of six tapestries that are now on display at Musee de Cluny, Paris. The original wall hangings are early 16th Century, consisting of The Walk, Reading, Embroidery, The Bath, Scenes of Gallantry and Falconry - shown here.
They form a portrayal of the favourite pleasures and pastimes of lords and ladies at the time of Louis XII, around 1500.
