MacDuff Slate

This volume, along with 'Research Report: Ballachulish Slate - Extraction and testing of slate from Khartoum Quarry, Argyll', have been published following research work by the Scottish Stone Liaison Group in considering the viability of re-instating a supply of indigenous Scottish slate.

Two sites were selected for investigation work and these reports record the work undertaken and the resulting outcomes of the research.
